People Know How is in search for a talented Fundraising Officer to join their dynamic development team.

Contract: Part-time or Full time
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £29,172 - £32,814
Location: Hybrid and/or Remote (UK-based)
Benefits: Flexible working, 40 days annual leave (including bank holidays) per year, with both employee and employer contributing 5% to your pension.

About the Charity:

People Know How is a Scottish charity dedicated to enhancing wellbeing across communities. They empower individuals to overcome obstacles and flourish through local services in Edinburgh and the Lothians, as well as national initiatives such as their digital support helpline. Their impact spans all community demographics, from children and young people to families and adults.

The Role:

As a Fundraising Officer, you will play a pivotal role in securing income to meet annual fundraising targets, ensuring the continual delivery of impactful services to communities in need. Key responsibilities include:

  • Crafting compelling fundraising applications.
  • Generating income from trusts, foundations, community fundraising, and individual giving.
  • Contributing to the ongoing success of People Know How's transformative community support initiatives.

About You:

They are seeking a dynamic individual with a background in fundraising or a related field. Whether you bring experience in bid writing, marketing, or another relevant area, your transferable skills will be welcomed. Key attributes include:
