RISK ANALYST

This is a new opportunity for a hands-on analyst who is looking for a new role in the data space, where you will be responsible for helping mitigate risk across payment platforms.
THE COMPANY
This company is a global fintech in the payments space who aim to mitigate risk for merchant acquiring companies and the payments they process.
THE ROLE
You will be doing the following daily:
- Conduct thorough reviews and analyses of individual merchants and portfolios to assess their risk levels.
- Write high-quality summary reports on partners' portfolios, providing insights into potential risk hot spots.
- Develop, implement, and automate insightful analyses that cut through the noise, offering clear, actionable suggestions for improvement to better monitor portfolios and share with partners.
- Collaborate with various payment firms and insurers to understand their needs and ensure you meet them.
- Support colleagues across the business by explaining the risks you identify and guiding product development to better meet customer needs.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 2 + years of risk analyst experience within the payment industry.
- SQL and Python skills are desirable.
- Strong academic background in a STEM field.
- Strong data analysis skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
