Lettings Manager
Location: Telford
- £26,000 to £28,000 basic salary, dependent on experience with enrolment onto fully funded training course that will earn a Level 3 Award in Property and Housing Management (including ARLA)
- Up to £30,000 basic if you are, ARLA qualified
- £45,000 OTE in your first year
- Monthly Car Allowance of £400
A day in the life of a Lettings Manager
- Strong focus on generating new and repeat business
- Maximise the overall income and profitability to the lettings department
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Landlords and Tenants
- Manage and undertake a full life cycle process from appraisal to move-in and thereafter
- Liaising with Tenants and arranging property viewings in line with their needs
- Negotiating offers and agreeing new tenancies
- Ensuring the business is risk-averse and following the highest compliance standards for all regulatory bodies
- Drive the lettings team whilst leading from the front and meeting all targets
- Leading daily meetings
- Coaching, training and developing the team to achieve KPI's
- Monitoring and assessing individual team member performance (Including but not limited to conducting one-to-one meetings)
- Actively encourage your teams development and progression
Essential Skills of a Lettings Manager
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Minimum of 2 years' experience within residential lettings at a Senior Lettings Negotiator position or higher
- Team player who works well with others to create a team spirit and an enjoyable working environment
- Excellent organisational skills
- Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with and create trusting relationships with customers, suppliers, communities and each other
- The ability to create and action business plans relevant to your branch
- The ability to monitor and assess performance of local competitors
- A strong understanding of current legislation related to Residential Lettings
- Ability to manage time sensitive and high volume workloads
- A reputation for delivering outstanding customer service
- Ability to work under own your initiative
- Good telephone manner
- Strong IT skills (Basic Microsoft Packages)
- First-rate attention to detail
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday: 09:00 to 17:30
Alternate Saturday: 09:00 to 16:00 with a day off during the working week
