Quality Controller
£26,500 per annum depending on experience
Full time on site, 4 on 4 off Twilight shifts 6am to 6pm days and nights
Responsibilities:
- Record and advise on chemistry and microbiology testing results
- Product grading
- Raw material grading
- Responding to customer complaints
- Managing vendor complaints
- Handling and investigating CAPAs
- Tracking bypass rates
- Writing and tracking quality concessions
- Environmental clean sign off
- Trending results over time and reporting to the Quality Manager
- Complying with safety and hygiene procedures including but not limited to: adopting safe working practices, wearing the required protective clothing and use of safety equipment appropriate to the role.
Person Specification:
- A passion for the food industry
- Keen to learn, hardworking and committed to gaining experience in a food manufacturing environment
- Prepared to work flexible shift patterns
- Either located close to Kendal/Burnside or happy to relocate
