JOB TITLE: English Teacher
QUALIFICATIONS: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education) or NQT (Newly Qualified Teacher)
PAY: £130 - £190.00 Per Day
English Teacher Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging English lessons that align with the curriculum.
- Employ a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles.
- Integrate technology and hands-on activities to enrich the learning experience.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assess and monitor student progress, offering constructive feedback.
- Participate in departmental meetings, professional development, and school events.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design cross-curricular learning opportunities.
- An ability to teacher Creative Media and Film Studies would be advantageous
English Teacher Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in English or a related field.
- Teaching certification (QTS or PGCE or NQT).
- Proven experience teaching English.
- Strong knowledge of English literature, language, and related concepts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for English and a commitment to student success.
