Process Engineer

Reed Recruitment are partnered with an innovative and global medical manufacturer seeking a Process Engineer to join their team. This role is integral to the design, development, and implementation of assembly processes within the medical technology sector. The successful candidate will ensure that all processes comply with the highest standards of health and safety and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
Day to Day of the role:
- Design and develop assembly processes, including line set-up/layout, equipment allocation, and creation of jigs and fixtures.
- Analyse data to ensure continuous operation and facilitate the transfer from New Product Introduction (NPI) to production.
- Evaluate new projects for process and manufacturing feasibility, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
- Develop processes that comply with GMP, including process validations and quality system documentation.
- Collaborate with other functions to assess and improve process methods, efficiency, and yield, using data to justify capital expenditure if needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in process engineering, preferably within the medical technology sector.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Familiarity with GMP and quality system documentation.
- Excellent documentation skills and adherence to GDP.
- Data analysis skills to drive process improvement and efficiency.
- Innovative mindset with a continuous improvement ethos.
