Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Various Secondary Schools across Hertfordshire
Salary: £100 - £125 per day (depending on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Supervise classrooms in the absence of regular teachers, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and maintain classroom discipline to ensure effective learning takes place.
- Support and assist students in their learning, providing guidance and encouragement as needed.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.
- Report any behavioural or safeguarding issues to the appropriate staff members.
- Engage with students and facilitate a constructive learning experience.
Requirements:
- Prior experience working as a Cover Supervisor in a Secondary School setting is highly desirable.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage with students effectively.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school environments and handle various subject areas.
- A passion for education and a commitment to nurturing students' growth and development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
