Are you a detail-orientated AAT qualified Accounts Assistant? If so, we would love to hear from you! We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as Accounts Assistant.

You will work alongside our Management Accountant and will be predominantly responsible for preparing accurate and timely information such as monthly journals, accruals and pre-payments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • The preparation and distribution of monthly departmental cost reporting
  • Review of department costs with budget holders
  • Ecommerce and retail accounts preparation
  • Posting and reconciling of cash paid/received
  • Preparation of monthly cashbook reconciliations
  • Support the preparation of the weekly KPI reporting
  • Preparation of manual revenue adjustments e.g., cash discounts
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly control accounts
  • Ensure purchase invoices are coded and unlogged in a timely manner
  • Process and posting of labour reports
  • Assist the AR team weekly with invoicing, credits and cash allocation

This is a varied role and will require advanced excel and time management skills along with prior experience in a similar role. You will also need to be fully AAT qualified.
