Payroll Administrator

Role: Payroll Admin (30 hrs p/w)

Location: Cambridge

Salary: £25-27.5k FTE

The payroll scope of work includes a range of duties that include collecting data from T&A system & timesheets, calculating wages on Sage 50 icloud payroll and ensuring employees receive their pay on time.

To be successful as a payroll administrator you should be able to carry out all tasks with high attention to detail. Ultimately, a top-notch payroll clerk should be highly organised and possess excellent math skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collecting data on T&A system and verifying timesheets.
  • Entering employee information and payroll data into the system.
  • Answering employees' questions and concerns regarding payroll.
  • Calculating payable hours.
  • Processing new employees, promotions, and terminations.
  • Investigating and resolving payroll discrepancies.
  • Maintaining and updating payroll records.
  • Preparing periodic payroll reports, including year end
  • Operate job retention scheme were applicable.
  • Checking P32/Paye returns for accounts.
  • Processing year end.
  • Liaising with HR.
