Role: Payroll Admin (30 hrs p/w)
Location: Cambridge
Salary: £25-27.5k FTE
The payroll scope of work includes a range of duties that include collecting data from T&A system & timesheets, calculating wages on Sage 50 icloud payroll and ensuring employees receive their pay on time.
To be successful as a payroll administrator you should be able to carry out all tasks with high attention to detail. Ultimately, a top-notch payroll clerk should be highly organised and possess excellent math skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collecting data on T&A system and verifying timesheets.
- Entering employee information and payroll data into the system.
- Answering employees' questions and concerns regarding payroll.
- Calculating payable hours.
- Processing new employees, promotions, and terminations.
- Investigating and resolving payroll discrepancies.
- Maintaining and updating payroll records.
- Preparing periodic payroll reports, including year end
- Operate job retention scheme were applicable.
- Checking P32/Paye returns for accounts.
- Processing year end.
- Liaising with HR.
