Cut and Crease Minder

Salary on offer : £25,000 - £31,000 depending on experience
Hours of work : Rotating shifts;
Week 1 - 06:00-14:00 / Week 2 - 14:00-22:00
Interaction Recruitment are partnering a new client in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. The company are looking for dynamic individuals who are good fits for their energetic team. They pride themselves on having a lively working environment.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly skilled production team. We are looking for experienced Cut and Crease Minders.
There are 3 machines within the lithographic printing division which you will be operating if successful. Training will be provided on each machine, but you must have Cut and Crease experience in order to be considered for this opportunity.
The shifts are rotational and so flexibility is required. The shifts are Monday to Friday however so there will not be weekend shifts.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Operate the Cut and Crease machines to construct high quality cartons
- Manage the quality of packaging.
- Meet daily schedules and have a strong understanding of the planning process for each shift.
- Organise the systems to ensure all jobs for the department are ready.
- Daily maintenance checks carried out on the machinery. This needs to be meticulously done.
- Complete all necessary documentation for traceability.
Requirements for the role:
- A minimum of 12 months experience in Cut and Crease.
- Ability to use initiative as there will be the requirement to work independently during a shift.
- Pro-active mindset and happy to problem solve.
- Strong levels of attention to detail.
- Excellent team-working ethic.
- It would be advantageous to have experience using Brausse Cut and Crease Machinery.
