Financial Services Regulatory Lawyer - 6-12 Month FTC

We are currently working on behalf of a well-regarded international law firm, who are looking for an FS Regulatory Lawyer to work with their London team on a 6-12 month assignment.

Responsibilities:

  • Advising clients on a wide range of financial regulatory matters, including but not limited to, compliance, risk management, and licensing.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of regulatory strategies and solutions for clients.
  • Conducting thorough research and analysis of relevant financial regulations to ensure clients' compliance with all applicable laws and requirements.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and clients to address legal challenges and providing strategic advice.
  • Representing clients in regulatory proceedings and interactions with relevant authorities.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest regulatory developments and trends in the financial industry.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Qualification as a Solicitor in England and Wales.
  • Possess a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in financial regulatory matters.
  • Demonstrated expertise in handling complex financial regulatory issues, with a keen understanding of industry best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills, and the ability to interpret and apply legal principles in practical situations.
  • A proven track record of providing strategic advice to clients in the financial sector.
