We are hiring a security officer to work at the designing and manufacturing site in Fareham with at least 1 year of experience in the security sector. Must hold a valid SIA licence. Duty will be a 12-hour shift for both day and night, Monday to Sunday. The pay rate is £12.00 per hour. Bank holidays will be paid at double time rates.
The job responsibilities of the Security Officer are:
- Flexibility with shifts as this role will include working days and nights, Monday - Sunday
- Opening and closing of the building.
- Carry out patrols to deter or report any form of vandalism.
- Supervise access and key management - issue to staff and contractors.
- To ensure all Security Incident/Loss/Accident Reports are completed before shift handover.
- To assess and report potential safety hazards so that remedial action may be taken.
- Excellent customer service skills are highly desirable.
- Have a polite and professional attitude to internal and external customers.
- To escort visitors as and when required.
- The ability to work independently or as a team.
- Must be computer literate.
- Excellent level of English both written and spoken.
- Any other duties as required.
