Thatcham based Primary School

We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant Learning Support Assistantto join our team and support children with a range of needs, either in a classroom setting or on a one-to-one basis. While a nursery nurse or EYFS qualification is preferred, we are happy to consider other Learning Support Assistant candidates who are willing to work towards this qualification in the future.

As part of this role, you will work closely with the SENCo and class teachers to ensure each Thatham child's individual needs are met.

Learning Support Assistant Position Details:

  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Contract: Permanent

Key Requirements for the Thatcham role:

  • Ability to work in EYFS, KS1, or KS2.
  • Relevant qualifications and experience working with children, ideally including those with additional needs.
  • A flexible, adaptable approach to meeting the specific needs of each child.
  • High expectations for all Thatcham children.
  • Willingness to engage in CPD to further support the needs of our pupils.
  • Ability to assist the class teacher and help all children achieve their full potential.
  • Passionate, enthusiastic, and committed to promoting a love of learning.
