Your new company
Based in Glasgow City Centre, our client is recruiting a Bookkeeper to join their team on a temporary basis for an initial 3 to 6 months basis with a view of going permanent. The contract is Monday - Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm. The role will be undertaken working from the office, with public transport links and onsite parking.
Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will take ownership of varied and fast paced workload. Your duties will include; sales ledger and purchase ledger processing, reconciliation, petty cash, journal entries, query handling, payroll and general associated finance administration. The IT system used is Sage.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have proven successful experience of the above duties. You will be able to work well both independently and as part of a team. You will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written as you will communicate with clients on a daily basis. Experience of Sage is preferred but not essential.
