As a Forklift Driver, your main responsibilities will include:
Collecting stock from various customer locations and delivering it to our client's warehouse
Ensuring efficient receipt and delivery of products through effective communication
Maintaining a high level of customer service
Operating a forklift to safely load and unload deliveries
Using manual handling techniques to lift goods
Coordinating and assisting with the receipt, order, and dispatch of goods
Recording and reporting any errors or discrepancies
Providing a faultless service to customers through effective communication and problem-solving skills
Maintaining a safe working environment by complying with all health and safety guidelines
Working closely with internal departments to meet customer requirements
Carrying out any additional duties as required, including general warehouse tasks
To be successful in this role, you will need to:
Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a high level of attention to detail
Have knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and manual handling techniques
Possess good administration skills, including experience with Microsoft Office
Have a proven understanding of warehouse policies and procedures
Be a proactive problem solver with excellent communication skills
Have scanning knowledge (an advantage but not essential)
Be able to work well with all levels of staff and effectively communicate customer needs
Be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
Exhibit a strong customer focus in a fast-paced environment
Have a flexible approach to working hours
Hold a full clean driving licence and a forklift licence
