Job Description
- To review processes and responsibilities to improve efficiencies in flow maintaining a 95% minimum OTIF requirement
- To work with the planning team to review requirements for daily, weekly and monthly production output.
- To lead the planning team, this entails reviewing and firming of planned orders from MRP, reviewing shortage reports and communicating with purchasing and production departments
- To ensure the planning system is controlled to ensure on time in full delivery of all orders. This includes the review of current planning practices
- To manage the NPI process to ensure the requirements of planning are maintained
- To ensure the integrity of system data is maintained.
- To ensure continuity of supply by reviewing material requirements and capacity requirements that meet or exceeds company requirements.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
- Ability to manage and work to deadlines.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Technical manufacturing background
- Detailed knowledge of production planning and scheduling, inventory control, materials requirements planning.
- MRP system experience is essential and working knowledge of D365 would be advantageous
- The ability to resolve problems in an efficient manner
