We are currently seeking a Paralegal with experience in property and conveyancing to join our legal team in Guildford. This full-time role offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to work within a dynamic and supportive environment. The successful candidate will assist with the progression of cases from inception to completion, providing high-quality support to our solicitors and playing a key role in the conveyancing process.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Assist solicitors in managing caseloads in property law and conveyancing.
- Draft, review, and amend various legal documents related to property transactions.
- Conduct legal research and provide accurate reporting on findings.
- Liaise with clients, solicitors, and other professionals to facilitate property transactions.
- Perform due diligence, including title checks and property searches.
- Prepare and submit legal documents required for conveyancing.
- Manage correspondence and legal documentation effectively.
- Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date client files.
- Ensure compliance with the law and company policies in all tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience as a Paralegal, ideally within the property and conveyancing sector.
- Strong understanding of property law and the conveyancing process.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Law degree or equivalent legal qualification is preferred.
