Position: Disability Assessor – WCA

Salary: £39,500 Work Hours: Monday – Friday 9am-5:30pm (Part Time Options Available) Working Pattern: Hyrbid - Remote / Office Based

As a Disability Assessor, you will conduct telephone and face-to-face assessments, covering a wide range of disabilities and health conditions. Your responsibilities include:

  • Using clinical skills to assess and examine claimants.
  • Communicating effectively to gather detailed health information.
  • Writing high-quality, accurate assessment reports.

You'll work autonomously within a supportive multi-disciplinary team, delivering functional assessment reports for Work Capability Assessments.

Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum of 2 years post-registration experience as a Nurse (RGN), Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist.

  • Full registration with one of the following professional bodies:

  • Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)

  • Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
