Business Analyst – Wholesale Lending & Credit Operational Resilience

We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Business Analyst – Wholesale Lending & Credit Operational Resilience

What you will do:

  • Support the Delivery of the key Non-Financial Risk Optimisation deliverables (Operational Resilience, process Risk Control Assessments).
  • Support the implementation the global resilience risk target
  • Overseeing E2E process for the important businesses Services (IBS) for Credit &Lending (C&L)
  • Provide SME capability on Operational resilience in C&L, on bank wide design meetings, helping craft various elements of the program.
  • Attend workshop to examine processes and procedures associated with the implementation of the Business Continuity Response, Communication, and Service Continuity plans
  • Ensure adequate training, communication, guidance and support to to improve the process led view of risk management across wholesale, and to reinforce and embed key requirements.
  • Work with Risk Stewards and the Control Owners to understand the actual controls that mitigate the most material risks impacting
  • Support the business in responses to regulatory requirements and information requests.
  • Prepare governance papers for various committees

Requirements:

  • Background in Operational resilience, business resilience within a financial industry setting ideally C&L
  • Strong working knowledge of the external Operational Resilience regulatory environment globally – with the UK regulatory landscape being incredibly important.
  • Strong Analytical Skills and understanding of process maps
  • Knowledge of control framework, specifically a strong understanding of HSBC's Non-Financial Risk Oversight (NFRO) framework is an asset but not essential.
  • Good relationship management, collaboration
