Our client are seeking a temporary management accountant to join their finance team for a minimum term of 9 months. Working closely with the Group Financial Controller, assisting in the production of the monthly management accounts to strict deadlines.

Description
- Production of month end revenue reconciliation in multiple currencies across all revenue streams
- Provide meaningful analysis of sales and margins promptly following the end of month
- Review and reconciliation of all company stock in various locations with recommendations for any stock adjustments necessary.
- Production of month end reconciliations for all key balance sheet accounts
- Production of ad hoc reporting, required throughout the business
- Review and update the fixed asset register intangible items and post amortisation
- Calculations of various accruals and maintain supporting schedules
- Preparation of monthly consolidated management accounts for submission to Group
- Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns and monthly declarations
- Working with external auditors to provide information in a timely manner
- Preparation of financial reports for inclusion within the statutory reports and accounts
- Provide cover for other finance functions where necessary
Profile
- Communication:
Great communication skills required to deal with both internal and external stakeholders
- Organisation:
Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Technical: Ability to use excel to an intermediate level to analyse data for reconciliations
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- A proven background in management accounts production
- ACCA/CIMA qualification
- Experience of assisting in the production of statutory accounts
- Can demonstrate flexibility and ability to work with multiple currency accounts
- Experience using Sage 300
Job Offer
- £27,000 per annum DOE
- Annual allowance of 15 days (pro rata) (excluding public holidays)
