Interim Senior Finance Manager

Stanton House is currently recruiting for an Interim Senior Finance Manager to join a Large Infrastructure Business located in London on a 6-month Contract paying £550 - £650 per day inside IR35 (depending on experience). This role offers a hybrid working model working 3 days in their offices and the rest from home.

This is a great opportunity for interim support over 6 months to assist with internal improvement projects, Half Year Reporting, and control process execution. The ideal candidate should quickly adapt and provide support across various internal financial activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing the group's half-year accounts, including consolidated accounts and compliance certificates. Provide input on key judgments and support for Board papers.
  • Plan and manage the timetable for external reporting deliverables, ensuring the Company meets all accounting, reporting, and tax requirements.
  • Review and provide insights on technical accounting memorandums, and support tax management tasks.
  • Oversee and review the preparation of intercompany and statutory account journals.
  • Ensure financial processes and controls are implemented and executed to a high standard and conduct internal process and control reviews.
  • Improve internal process documentation and execution.
  • Coach and upskill the finance team.
  • Support the execution of finance projects aligned with business strategy.
  • Support the Financial Controller on ad hoc projects.

To be suitable for this role, you must have the following:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience.
  • Experience in external/internal reporting, management reporting and financial control.
  • Up to date with accounting standards (IFRS) and reporting requirements.
  • Skilled in preparing Group Statutory accounts under IFRS and managing year-end teams.
  • Experienced in implementing and improving financial control processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of influencing at all levels, including CEO and shareholders.
