Their team of economists delivers award-winning macroeconomic, financial market, and sector-specific analysis, along with forecasts and consultancy services, operating from offices in London, New York, Toronto, and Singapore. Their clients include asset managers, hedge funds, boutique family offices, and major investment banks. They are frequently cited in global media and consistently rank high in macroeconomic forecasting polls.

As they expand the commercial team, they are seeking enthusiastic and skilled candidates to join the business development team in London. In this role, you will be instrumental in identifying, researching, and engaging with potential clients, helping to drive the growth of our client base.

The Role

As a Sales Support Executive, you will provide support for various marketing campaigns, manage company correspondence with clients, handle administrative duties, assist in troubleshooting support issues and maintain the Salesforce CRM database. Reporting to the Global Head of Sales Support and Operations, you will play a key role in driving the success of our sales efforts.Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and verify marketing-generated leads before assigning them to sales teams for follow-up within the Salesforce CRM database.
  • Identify and generate potential leads and opportunities by researching former client accounts and contacts in the Salesforce CRM.
  • Handle company correspondence with both current and prospective clients.
  • Manage all incoming support cases within Salesforce.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the sales team.
  • Troubleshoot, escalate, and serve as a contact point for website login issues and other technical concerns.
  • Regularly update and maintain Salesforce to ensure the accuracy of information.
  • Promptly address undeliverable email addresses, which may require client communication.
  • Provide general administrative and office support to the London office.
  • Manage incoming switchboard calls.
  • Collaborate with the product team to maintain the support knowledge base.

Requirements

  • Quick to learn and easily grasp new concepts.
  • Highly organised and persistent, with a demonstrated ability to generate leads using various tools and personal initiative.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effectively adapts to changing demands, adjusting work schedules as needed to meet deadlines.
  • Previous experience in a similar field and a good understanding of the financial industry would be beneficial, but not essential for the right candidate.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, proven in a sales environment.
  • Fully proficient with IT and technically capable; experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • A strong team player, committed to collaborating with the broader organisation to add value and achieve success.
