Robert Half are delighted to be recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a successful engineering company based in East Bristol. This is a fully office-based position, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm. There is plenty of free parking available on site.
Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining the sales and purchase ledger.
- Chasing debts as they become due for payment and pursuing overdue accounts.
- Month end duties including supporting with journal posting, reconciliations and reporting.
- Handling all expenses.
- Supporting with budgeting, planning and forecasting processes.
- Reporting to management within the business.
- Additional ad hoc administrative duties as required.
Your Profile:
- Previous experience in a similar accounts position having assisted with month end duties is essential.
- Ideally, you will be fully or part AAT qualified.
- A confident communicator, able to manage strong working relationships in the business.
- Proactive and "can-do" attitude.
- Experience using SAGE and/or Xerox is advantageous.
In return, the successful candidate can expect a salary of between £28-32k dependant on experience plus benefits including 24 days holiday (+ bank holidays).
