We are currently supporting a business in their search for a Customer Quality Engineer to join the growing team at their Manufacturing site.

Client Details

Our client is an established player in the Oil and Gas sector with over 1000 employees across the group and 200 on their site based in Bradford. They manufacture Precision Componentry for fluid systems supplying into the Oil and Gas sector with a body of clients loyal to the business.

Description

As Customer Quality Engineer you will be tasked with the following;

  • Liaising with both Customers and Productions to ensure that Quality Standards are maintained to customer specification.
  • Conducting quality control investigations providing documentation such as APQP & PPAP's in order ensure that constant communication with customers is maintained.
  • You will perform weekly meetings with customers providing updates on products and solutions to potential issues.
  • Liaising with the engineering & manufacturing team to ensure quality products
  • Perform Internal Audits in order to provide updates to customers and investigate any issues using techniques such as; 8D, 5Y, A3, Fishbone.

Profile

As the successful Customer Quality Engineer you should have:

  • Demonstrable experience of data analysis and formatting to provide to clients
  • Experience of using Quality tools such as; 8D, 5Y, A3 and Fishbone, along with Continuous improvement processes such as; LEAN, Six Sigma, 5S
  • A background within Automotive, Fluid transfer or a similar industry.
