Are you an experienced Marketing Manager with a wide skillset looking for a place to make a difference?

If so, on behalf of my client I am looking for a forward-thinking, tech-savvy, experienced Marketing Manager to join their Marketing Team within the education sector

Location: Cambridge

Fulltime/Permanent 3 days a week in the office

Salary: £37,450 p.a.

Role Overview:

As the Marketing Manager, you will lead the marketing strategy and delivery for the organisation. You will be responsible for delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns. This position's main purpose is to work closely with the Director of Marketing and the wider marketing team to develop and implement the marketing strategy, act as their deputy where needed, and manage the marketing campaigns, initiatives, communications, and channels to support in achieving its reputational and recruitment objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of the marketing strategies.
  • Covering multi-channel expertise from direct marketing, PPC, advertising both on and offline, email, PR, social media, SEO, events, telemarketing, lead management and conversion, multi-media (video) content and collateral production.
  • To line manage a Graphic Designer, Web & Digital Marketing Executive and Marketing and Events Apprentice to create and maintain a high performing team as part of and contributing to the wider marketing department.
  • To monitor, measure, evaluate and report on campaign performance to achieve excellent return on investment and conversion rates.
  • Account management
  • To act as a customer experience champion to develop high performing nurture and conversion programmes for core target audiences, through marketing platforms and CRM systems

Skills and Attributes:

  • Degree or equivalent.
  • Expertise in digital and social media marketing.
  • To have knowledge and skills in website optimisation, performance and SEO.
  • Demonstrable experience in website development project delivery/ management to optimise performance, user experience and conversions and SEO best practice.
  • Experienced in design.
  • Previous experience of budget management.
  • A track record of innovative/creative approaches to marketing.
  • Managing a busy marketing and communications role function that has varied types of work and subject matter.
  • To have knowledge and skills in lead management journeys, ideally in CRM and marketing atomisation platforms.
  • Willing and able to attend events outside of normal working hours/ days.
  • Able to travel to events in the region.
  • Possess effective communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
  • Be a supportive and inspirational leader generating creativity and empowering people to find innovative solutions.
  • Possess good organisation, planning and communication skills and be able to meet deadlines.
  • Able to manage multiple projects at once.
