CNC Machine Setter
Location of Work: Rainham, Greater London RM13
Salary: £15.75ph = £32,760
Hours: 6am to 2.30pm Monday to Friday - NIGHTS and other shifts also considered

MAIN DUTIES:
- Setting and operating of CNC lathes, vertical machining centres, Turning machines and horizontal machining centres
- Using Ikegai, Index ABC / C65, and Citizens controls and conventional machines as and when required (Drills, capstan lathes, fly press etc)
- Ensuring cycle times and outputs are achieved
- Complete quality checks
- Pass off 1st off approvals for production run and log measurements
- Set machines as requested and ensure that cycle times meet the quality and output required
- Recognise, identify and rectify shortfalls for parts and components.
- Train and develop new team members to the standard required.
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment
- Maintain good communications and relationships
- Ensure compliance with company procedures
WHAT YOU WILL ALREADY HAVE:
- Experience of CNC Setting
- Good understanding of set ups and tooling
- Turning machine experience
- Ability to read drawings
- Some programming experience is desirable but not essential
- Engineering qualification - NVQ or equivalent preferred
