Salary: MPR/UPR (£30,000 to £43,565 per annum) +TLR 2b

Reed Education Southampton are currently seeking a passionate Head of House to fulfil a permanent, full time role within a Secondary School located in Farnborough.
The school is a secondary school based in Farnborough, a vibrant and driven school that supports the development of the whole child and celebrates success. It has a reputation of a small, friendly school, built on strong traditional values with exceptional pastoral care and high academic expectations. The school are on a journey to continually improve, and are dedicated to looking for dedicated staff to enhance what the school can offer.
You will be a teacher who will take a lead in the pastoral provision and academic overview for students within the House, ensuring they feel safe and nurtured in school. You will promote positive attitudes from students and families towards education so that students benefit fully from the opportunities available to them. You will promote high attendance and other positive behaviours for learning, building good relationships with students and parents through effective communication.
For this role, you will be/will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status with degree in relevant field
- Experience of Pastoral Leadership is essential
- An excellent classroom practitioner with knowledge of developments in pastoral care
- Confidence in upholding school policies and procedures
- Able to adapt positively to change
This role is suitable for an experienced pastoral leader with excellent classroom experience, and is keen to make a difference.
