We are now looking to build a team of Building Surveyors to join our field based team, playing a vital role in ensuring the successful implementation of our sustainable energy solutions. You will be responsible for conducting thorough pre-installation building inspections, assessing the suitability of properties for various installations, and providing detailed reports to guide our installation teams. You will be the go to face for residents, providing solutions to problems, guidance and advice in a professional and diligent manner. You will advise residents on upcoming work, guiding them through the upcoming process and ensuring assessments are accurate.
This role requires extensive travel across the UK, as you will visit diverse properties encompassing social housing, residential work and some commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive pre-installation building inspections at various properties across the UK.
- Assess the structural integrity, suitability, and compliance of properties for the installation of sustainable energy systems.
- Prepare detailed and accurate reports outlining inspection findings, recommendations, and any potential issues.
- Liaise with installation teams, providing them with necessary information to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of building regulations, sustainability standards, and best practices.
- Communicate effectively with residents, addressing any concerns or questions regarding the inspection process.
- Ensure all inspections are conducted in a timely manner, meeting project deadlines.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Building Surveyor or similar role in the construction or energy sector.
- Strong understanding of building regulations, standards, and sustainability practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to prepare clear, concise, and comprehensive reports.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the UK.
- Valid UK driving license.
