Class 2 Relief Driver
Average 48 hours per week - Monday to Friday
Pay: £14.86ph - Paid Weekly
JHP Recruitment are currently looking for a Class 2 Relief Driver to work for our client at a busy distribution facility based in Stapleton. Valid HGV Cat C Driving Licence, CPC qualification, and Digi Tacho cards are essential for these roles. These are temp-to-perm assignments where you will become permanent following a successful probationary period.
As a Class 2 Relief Driver you will be involved in a multitude of tasks which will include, but are not limited to:
- Driver cover during periods of holiday and absence
- Delivering customer orders
- Ensuring your vehicle is kept clean and tidy
- Completing all relevant paperwork in line with Company procedure
- Ensuring you comply with all EU Drivers Rule legislation
The Person
- A full LGV Category C (Class 2) licence, Digital Tachograph Card and Driver Qualification Card (CPC) are essential
- Multi-drop experience would be advantageous but is not essential
- Be physically fit due to the nature of the role including heavy lifting
- A forklift licence would be advantageous but full training could be given
- The ability to work on your own initiative is required
- Excellent customer service skills are essential
