Our client based in South London are currently recruiting for a Technical Inspector within Damp and Mould to join their Social Housing Team as soon as possible.
This is a Full time, temporary position offering £25 per hour Umbrella LTD (Inside IR35).
The purpose of the role is to diagnose and identify the necessary repairs across the housing stock in particular for Damp and Mould issues for Social Housing.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the quality and compliance for responsive repairs and voids, programmed works and projects.
- Undertake estate inspections and community walkabouts, ensuring all actions are followed up.
- Undertake inspections for tenancy termination, mutual exchanges, resident improvement requests and deal with issuing permissions and recharging as required.
Requirements:
- MRICS, CIOB, Degree or HNC or relevant qualification and/or management experience or equivalent in investment, repairs and maintenance
- An Understanding of Damp and Mould
- Social Housing Experience
- An understanding of the Housing, Health & Safety Rating Guidance (HHSRS Guidance for landlord and property related professionals) and practical knowledge of how to assess hazards.
- Full UK Driving License and Access to own vehicle
