Description
As an NGS Product Development Team Lead based in Manchester you will:
- Provide scientific expertise and technical input on varying NGS projects
- Provide effective team leadership and management to support with progressing projects through stages of product lifecycle
- Plan and report on project deliverables ensuring activities are carried out to schedule by organising resource and communicating within team
- Deliver optimised assays and workflows successful for Product Transfer to ops & tech support
- Optimise and oversee system integration activities
Profile
To be successful you will have:
- Bsc or further degree in Molecular biology or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years' experience working with NGS technologies, preferably spanning short and long read platforms
- Expertise in development, verification and validation of NGS technologies and molecular diagnostic assays
- Ability to lead and mentor teams or scientists in a fast-paced environment
