We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Teacher to join our vibrant educational community in South Gloucestershire. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and Deliver Lessons: Create and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to a diverse student body, ensuring all learning styles are addressed.
  • Assess Student Progress: Regularly assess students' work, provide constructive feedback, and monitor their academic progress to help them achieve their goals.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love of learning.
  • Curriculum Development: Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine the school's curriculum, ensuring it meets educational standards and the needs of all students.
  • Parental Engagement: Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns, fostering a supportive home-school partnership.
  • Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational best practices and continuously improve teaching skills.
  • School Activities: Participate in school-wide activities, including extracurricular programs, school events, and staff meetings.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience teaching at the primary level is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of the primary school curriculum and effective teaching methods.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
