Hays are supporting a growing Professional Services Firm who are searching for a Business Development Manager to lead their BD and Marketing activities for their Basildon office.
Your new role
As the Business Development Manager, you will be building, developing and retaining a team to deliver profitable results for the business. You will lead the office's Business Development and Marketing initiatives with support from members of the team and the dedicated BDM team. This will include but is not limited to:
- Mentoring and developing team members, providing guidance, support and opportunities for professional growth.
- Effectively interacting with clients and building long-term relationships, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Playing a key role in the strategic planning and future development of the team.
- Developing and executing marketing strategies to promote services and attract new clients.
- Coordinating and supporting business development activities, including networking events, client meetings and proposal preparations.
- Analysing market trends and client feedback to refine and improve BDM strategies.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need previous experience working in a Business Development role within the Professional Services sector.
You will have the ability to lead a professional services team, delivering excellent client and team communication skills, and demonstrate a proven track record of success.
