Key Project Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated Key Project Coordinator to join our client's team in Islington. This role is integral to supporting disadvantaged students at a local secondary school, helping them gain admission to top universities. The successful candidate will be deeply involved in managing and delivering a comprehensive support program that includes tutoring, enrichment activities, and university application guidance.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
- Tutoring Management: Oversee the pairing of students with volunteer tutors, ensuring effective weekly sessions. Monitor and support the delivery of both one-to-one and small group tutorials.
- Enrichment Coordination: Organise and promote participation in various enrichment activities such as debates, workshops, and career insight sessions.
- University Application Support: Guide students through the university application process, including personal statement workshops, university trips, and specific support for Oxbridge and Medicine applications.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with students, school staff, tutors, and partners involved in the project. This includes regular updates and coordination with our main partners and funders.
- Data Management and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of student progress and program activities on Salesforce. Prepare reports and present program progress in termly meetings with senior management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 18 months in a similar role, preferably within the education or charity sector.
- Education: University degree.
- Skills: Strong administrative, organisational, and project management skills. Proficient in using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
- Attributes: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, resilient, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
- Passion: A strong commitment to addressing educational disadvantage and promoting social mobility.
