Requirements:
- At least a 2:1 bachelor's degree in psychology, or a related field.
- Passion for the education of SEN pupils.
- Commitment to following strict safeguarding procedures.
- Some understanding of special educational needs.
- Previous experience of working alongside young SEN pupils is beneficial, but not mandatory.
The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide 1:1 and small group interventions to pupils with slight SEN requirments in order to raise their attainment and achievement levels. You will work in close collaboration with teaching staff to create a positive learning environment and will aid in the adaptation of lesson plans and learning materials to accommodate individual pupils' learning needs.
