Are you a psychology gradute who is looking to pursue a career in education and is in need of experience supporting students?

Requirements:

  • At least a 2:1 bachelor's degree in psychology, or a related field.
  • Passion for the education of SEN pupils.
  • Commitment to following strict safeguarding procedures.
  • Some understanding of special educational needs.
  • Previous experience of working alongside young SEN pupils is beneficial, but not mandatory.

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide 1:1 and small group interventions to pupils with slight SEN requirments in order to raise their attainment and achievement levels. You will work in close collaboration with teaching staff to create a positive learning environment and will aid in the adaptation of lesson plans and learning materials to accommodate individual pupils' learning needs.
