Teach Plus are currently working with a one-form entry, welcoming and supportive primary school, who are seeking a Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistant to join them ASAP on a part-time, ongoing basis.
The school is located in the heart of Maida Vale and has strong links with the local community. They are a diverse, vibrant school who promote inclusivity and celebrate diversity. The role of the Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistant is to start ASAP, on a part-time basis, 5 mornings per week, 8.30am - 12.30pm.
As a Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistant you will be expected to:
- Support the lead teacher in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Establish positive relationships with the pupils, parents, class teachers and other members of staff across the school
- Monitor and document the progress of each child and communicate observations to the lead teacher
- Be responsible for setting up continuous provision indoors and outdoors
The ideal candidate for a Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistant role will have:
- Experience working in an EYFS setting, ideally within a primary school
- Level 3 Childcare Qualification
- A flexible, proactive attitude who are passionate about improving the environment and learning for all pupils
- Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
- Right to work in the UK
