We're seeking an enthusiastic Supply Teaching Assistant to support primary classes in Croydon starting in November 2024. This part-time role includes helping with lesson activities and fostering students' educational and social development.
Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers with lessons and classroom activities
- Provide support to individual students or small groups
- Ensure student safety during class and break times
- Promote a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Support classroom organisation and perform light admin tasks
Requirements:
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role
- Understanding of primary curriculum and child development
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Patient, empathetic, and positive with children
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant education or childcare qualification
- CACHE Level 1, 2, or 3; First Aid certification is a plus
