£50,000 + Bonus. (£65,000 OTE)

Company car or car allowance (£600 per month) + mileage

Pertemps are thrilled to be working with a specialist client in the Construction Services and Training industry. We're seeking an extraordinary individual with expertise in Sales and Business Development to join the Senior Management team. As the National Sales & Marketing Manager, you'll lead the charge in crafting and executing a nationwide sales and marketing strategy, as well as spearheading the discovery and cultivation of new business opportunities. Your role will also involve overseeing a team of regional business development managers, sales, and marketing teams to ensure consistent sales growth in line with business targets.

The role of National Sales and Marketing manager will include:

  • Develop, execute, and manage national sales and marketing strategies, incorporating customer engagement tactics.
  • Embrace and apply a comprehensive '360' approach to fulfil all business sales and marketing needs.
  • Maintain an ongoing business visibility through proactive marketing initiatives and engagement efforts.
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with key stakeholders within the sector to maximise sales opportunities.
  • Stay informed about industry dynamics, market shifts, and funding/grant opportunities on a national scale.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to team members to support their professional growth and development.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the sales and marketing team.
  • Ensure the attainment of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and targets.

The requirements of the National Sales and Marketing Manager:

  • Full driving licence and willingness to travel is essential
  • Experience of leading a sales team and contributing to strategy development and implementation
  • Knowledge and understanding of funded qualifications and skills training with experience of working in the independent training sector is desirable
  • Knowledge of Construction industry is desirable
  • Strong experience of building lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Budget management experience
  • Strong administration and organisational experience
