Maintenance Support Administrator

Position: Permanent Part-Time 15 Hrs Per Week

Our busy maintenance team carry out repairs on around 30,000 customer homes within the Midlands area.

As Maintenance Support Administrator you will be responsible for equipping and ensuring Health & Safety compliance for approximately 90 Trade Engineers. This will include supporting Engineers with providing suitable uniform and PPE. The role also supports compliance in Health & Safety in areas such as Working at height equipment and PAT testing. The team also manages the Citizen fleet of over 300 vehicles, and there is the requirement to support that function via some administration.

In Maintenance Operations you can make a real difference, the role of Maintenance Support Administrator will involve:

  • Ordering, tracking and issuing PPE & Uniform to a team of Engineers
  • Monitoring and chasing orders
  • Running and actioning reports on plant and equipment
  • Managing waste streams at local depots
  • Supporting Fleet administration
  • Taking minutes from Contractor performance meetings
  • Accurate record keeping across our systems

As Maintenance Support Administrator we need you to:

  • Have good experience of using Excel and various databases
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Be personable and approachable
  • Positive communication skills both verbal and written.

  • Secretarial skills to support minute taking
  • Ability to work across various Citizen offices such as Birmingham & Worcester
