Senior Finance Administrator

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Finance Assistant to join a dynamic Finance team on a permanent basis, within the renewable energy industry. Offices are based in central London, with hybrid working arrangements available. You will be

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with suppliers to process invoicing or payment queries.
  • Attach the correct documentation to invoices and reconcile purchase orders.
  • Post invoices and credit notes, ensuring accurate coding in the system.
  • Prepare monthly supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Handle external and internal queries via phone and email.
  • Process supplier payments and obtain necessary approval from a senior Finance Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial policies and procedures for all accounts payable activities.
  • Investigate and resolve outstanding creditor items.
  • Reconcile corporate credit card statements.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly slides for Executive Management meetings.
  • Approve employee expenses.
  • Support the Project team in implementing ERP changes.
  • Track incoming payments and record and reconcile all financial transactions.
  • Issue invoices and receipts to clients and resolve outstanding payments.
  • Update client account information and records

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years of previous experience in Accounts Payable.
  • Experience with systems implementation is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Xero, and other accounting software.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and communicate effectively and efficiently.
