Job Title: Temporary Scientific Communications Officer
Location: New Haw
Hours: Full-time Temporary, 37 hours per week
Are you a dynamic and self-motivated individual with a background in biology or science? Are you passionate about effective communication and engagement in the scientific field? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our client as a Scientific Communications Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategic lines to take and approach planning documents for topics of media interest.
- Conduct meetings with various teams to capture and support engagement activities.
- Take the lead in migrating our contacts database to MailChimp for enhanced communication efficiency.
- Promote and enhance direct communication channels to stakeholders.
- Provide support for communication and engagement planning and delivery for various projects and initiatives.
What We Are Looking For:
- Self-starter and Confident Communicator: Demonstrate the ability to initiate tasks independently and effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization, including senior stakeholders.
- Adaptability and Quick Comprehension: Proven ability to rapidly comprehend information about new scientific topics and produce content in a variety of styles based on that information.
- MailChimp Experience: Previous experience with MailChimp would be advantageous.
- Detail-oriented: Possess a strong eye for detail in both personal and others' work.
- Scientific Background: Successful candidates will have relevant experience and qualifications from a biological or scientific background.
