Account manager required to join a well-established Manufacturing company that is based in the Tamworth area. The main purpose of this position will be to increase sales and grow the customer database. The successful candidate will come from a strong customer service background, and have the skillsets required to turn a lead into a customer.

Position Overview

  • Telephone Account Management
  • Target Driven and able to perform under pressure.
  • Maintain high levels of proactive communication with customers and wider business.
  • Updating of CRM database
  • Building on sales and pipeline leads.
  • Competent and comfortable with closing sales.
  • Fulfil customer order via Phone, email and portal.
  • Produce weekly, monthly, annual KPI reports as and when required.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Position Requirements

  • Must live within a commutable distance to Tamworth
  • 2+ years' experience in a Sales role would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication and administration skills
  • IT Literate and fully conversant with all Microsoft packages, good excel skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Good level of organisation and prioritisation

Position Remuneration

  • Full time - Permanent position
  • Monday to Friday - early finish on Friday
  • Salary - £28,000 - £30,000 DOE + up to 20% commission
  • Competitive holiday allowance
  • Pension contributions
