Power BI Developer, €65k, Dublin (Hybrid 3X per week)
Pearson Carter are working with a Data and Analytics Consultancy based in Dublin that help their clients increase market share, revenue, and efficiency through Artificial Intelligence, Data and Analytics. They are seeking a Power BI Developer to join their close-knit team in Dublin and aid in newly onboarded projects.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside key stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver reports, dashboards and visualisations using Power BI.
- Enhance and improve existing reports and dashboards.
- Develop a full understanding of relevant data and the business processes that generate it.
- Working with information gathered from multiple sources, be able to evaluate and document business requirements, ensuring that the proposed solutions are reconciled with all business inputs.
- Using interviews, workshops, documentation reviews, business analysis and business process evaluations, gather business requirements.
- Work with the data available to understand, validate and test business requirements.
- Document, design and build dashboards that are impactful and easily adopted.
- Establish standards and principles for the design of high value Dashboards and Visualisations.
- Provide technical recommendations and direction on the development and implementation of reports & dashboards in adherence with the standards
Experience
- 4-5 years' previous experience as a developer.
- Proficiency in Power BI.
- Previous experience Data Modelling.
- Good knowledge of DAX Queries.
- Previous work at a consultancy is desirable.
Salary
The salary for this role is up to €65k + 10% bonus.
Location
You are expected to work onsite in Dublin 3 days a week whether this is at the consultancy's office or at their clients' sites (all in Dublin).
