SEN Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and organised SEN Administrative Assistant to join our vibrant and inclusive school in Calderdale. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), offering a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the SEN department.
- Manage and update pupil records using SIMS or Arbor systems.
- Coordinate communication between staff, parents, and external agencies.
- Assist in organising meetings, reviews, and training sessions.
- Support the SEN team with various administrative tasks as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar or transferable role within an SEN setting.
- Familiarity with SIMS or Arbor systems is highly desirable.
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational journey.
- Confidence and the ability to go above and beyond to support pupils with SEND.
- A DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
