Role Overview:

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and expanding our client base. Your primary focus will be on identifying new business opportunities, nurturing existing relationships, and achieving revenue targets. Specifically, you will be responsible for developing SME (Small and Medium-sized Enterprise) accounts as well as multinational clients.

Responsibilities:

Prospecting and Lead Generation:

Identify potential clients through market research, networking, and referrals.

Develop a robust pipeline of qualified leads.

Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.

Understand client needs and tailor solutions to meet their requirements.

Sales and Negotiation:

Present our services to prospective clients.

Negotiate contracts and pricing terms.

Close deals effectively.

Field Visits:

Conduct on-site visits to client locations.

Understand their logistics requirements and propose tailored solutions.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 3 years in logistics sales or a related field.

Skills:

Strong communication and negotiation abilities.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Knowledge of logistics industry trends and market dynamics.

Compensation:

Base Salary: Competitive (based on experience).

OTE (On-Target Earnings):

First Year: £40,000

Second Year: £50,000

3+ Years: £60,000+
