Graduate internal sales (entry role)

We are seeking a graduate to join and develop further as a Sales Executive , within our teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth through effective communication and relationship building with our customers.

Teconnex is a global manufacturing business, with sites in Europe, Americas and Asia, our head office in West Yorkshire, now requires an internal sales Executive to drive new and existing business, creating leads, proposals. Supporting the sales function, based at Keighley. Selling our Bellow products to industries such as Oil & Gas, marine, aerospace, rail, to UK and international customers. we are open to applications from technical engineers, who would like to take a career down the sales path, or graduates, that have a business background or placement experiences within a sales orientated post.

Overview of responsibilities

  • prospecting new opportunities, managing the flow of enquiries going in and out and following up those opportunities.
  • Communicate actions, between Sales and Engineering department and ensuring excellent customer service and communication at all times.
  • proactively follow opportunities, leads to be quoted
  • Leading on account development activity to achieve up-sell/cross-sell opportunities.
  • Making outbound calls to identify & engage with new potential customers
  • Resolve customer enquiries and ensure a high level of customer service/satisfaction at all times
  • Working closely with and supporting the External and Internal Sales team
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies and achieve sales targets
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for business growth.

About you.

  • Confident communication skills and can effectively, build customer relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Confident to generate new lead, using various sales techniques and channels to create new Sales leads.
  • Understands general sales processes, and can pitch, negotiate, used sales objection handling.
  • Would suit a graduate who has spent 12 months (maybe a placement) looking to progress a career within sales.
  • proficient user of Microsoft Office
  • A positive attitude with a customer-oriented approach
