We are seeking an experienced Fashion Lecturer to join our vibrant team at a Further Education college in West London. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in teaching L3 Yr1 and Yr2 Fashion courses. This role is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator looking to inspire and shape future professionals in the fashion industry.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver engaging and informative lectures to students in L3 Yr1 and Yr2 Fashion courses.
- Prepare course materials, including lesson plans, assignments, and assessments.
- Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain academic records and monitor student attendance.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to continuously improve the curriculum and teaching methods.
- Stay updated with current fashion trends and industry practices to integrate into the curriculum.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Fashion Lecturer, specifically with L3 Yr1 and Yr2 courses.
- UAL qualifications or extensive knowledge in UAL course frameworks preferred.
- Strong command of contemporary fashion trends and industry requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students.
