Cedar are supporting a Private Sector organisation based near Trafford, Greater Manchester, who are looking for a Bid Writer. This is a permanent role offering a salary up to £35,000 plus uncapped commission and additional perks. This role will operate on a hybrid basis but will be primarily on-site with the requirement to be in the office 4-days per week with the remaining day available to work from home.
Reporting into the Head of Bid Management the successful candidate will work in the successful Bid Team to write compelling bid responses to bid questions for requirements covering both the Private and Public Sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with key stakeholders, researching customer profiles and uploading and coordinating responses to bids via portals used. The successful candidate will also be responsible for keeping on top of developments in the marketplace and alerting the business to new opportunities released in the marketplace and support additional projects within the Bid Management and/or Business Development functions where required.
Candidates applying MUST HAVE:
- Experience working in a Bid Writing position is required
- Track record bidding for opportunities in the Public Sector is required
- Experience bidding in the Private Sector as well would be advantageous
