The Account Manager role:

Your role as an Account Manager will be hands-on and rewarding. Based in a tight-knit team you will be the face of their clients, users, partners and leads.

Become an Account Manager / B2B Sales Leader:

  • Drive Growth Through Active Prospecting: You'll be the architect of your own success, actively generating new opportunities in the infrastructure construction industry. This includes identifying potential clients, with an initial focus on mid-market contractors (100-500 employees), through targeted outreach campaigns, industry event participation, and strategic site visits.
  • Craft Compelling Solutions: Develop in-depth presentations and proposals that showcase how our client addresses specific client pain points, converting leads into loyal
  • Navigate Diverse Negotiations: Confidently negotiate with C-suite executives in large companies and owners of family-run businesses, tailoring your approach to each client's needs and tech experience. This is solution selling with sales cycles ranging from 3 - 12 months.

Build Enduring Client Partnerships:

  • Onboard and manage multiple clients: Ensure seamless transitions for new clients, understanding their unique challenges and translating them into action plans. Deliver engaging training sessions that maximise their use of the company.
  • Foster long-term relationships: Become a trusted advisor, building rapport with key contacts, users, and buyers across client organisations.
  • Drive sustainable growth: Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, contributing to revenue growth and client success.

Collaborate for Success:

  • Bridge internal teams: Work closely with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and Engineering. Share best practices, celebrate wins, and provide valuable feedback for continuous improvement of our clients offerings.

Account Manager core requirements:

  • Proven B2B Sales Acumen (3+ years): You've thrived in the B2B sales landscape, building a strong track record of success.
  • Tech-Savvy with a Growth Mindset: You're comfortable with web-based and mobile technologies, eager to learn our clients platform inside-out, and adapt to evolving needs.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Master: You excel at both written and verbal communication, fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Client Champion & Problem-Solver: You have a proven ability to build trust with clients, identify their challenges, and leverage their solutions to drive their success.
  • Results-Oriented & Organized: You have a history of exceeding targets, effectively managing your time, and juggling multiple clients while delivering exceptional service.
  • Service Mindset: You're passionate about putting clients first, ensuring they maximise the value of our client and achieve their goals.

Account Manager nice to haves

  • Experience working in B2B SaaS sales
  • Experience working in the construction and/or engineering sector
  • Familiarity with HubSpot CRM and Planhat
