Part-Time Meeting Administrator

We are working with Tameside Council to find a part-time Meeting Administrator on a temporary basis.

Hourly Rate: £11.44
Location: Hybrid, can be mostly remote.
Job Type: Part-time (initial 4-month contract)
Working Hours: 18 hours per week over 5 days. Can be flexible.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Meeting Coordinator to organise and take notes for LADO (Local Area Designated Officer) meetings. The ideal candidate will be able to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and strong organisational skills.

Day to Day of the role:

- Take detailed and accurate notes during LADO meetings, ensuring all recommendations are captured.

- Update necessary records with the outcomes of the meetings into an electronic database.

- Disseminate notes to professionals as required.

- Maintain an online filing system.

- Utilise IT skills to work with databases and spreadsheets effectively.

- Record notes of discussions during meetings with excellent word processing skills.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Good organisational skills and the ability to use own initiative.

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

- Excellent attention to detail.

- Knowledge of General Data Protection Regulations.

- Strong IT competence, particularly with databases, spreadsheets, and word processing.

Strong organisation skills are required along with a good level of IT competence in order to work with the database & spreadsheets. Excellent word processing skills are required in order to record notes of the discussion during the meeting.

You should be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate with colleagues.

You must demonstrate knowledge of the facilities provided by our service and should possess good communication skills.

You will need to have:

  • Experience in taking notes of meetings
  • Good organisational skills and use own initiative
  • Work as part of a team
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Knowledge of General Data Protection regulations

Note post is part time 18 hours to be worked over 5 days
